About our Team – The Wolves were established in 2016 playing our first season in the U7’s Bolton & Bury District League. We have continued to grow and strengthen the team as we have progressed from 5 a side through 7’s and 9’s until finally moving up to 11 a side this 2022/23 season. We’ve seen players come and go over the years but it’s great to see the core of the team having been together for over 4 years with a handful being the same lads that turned up as young 6 year olds on that Saturday morning back in April 2016, some 7 years ago. We currently play in the U13’s A section of BBDFL after being promoted as runners up in B section at the end of  the 2021/22 season.

Myself and Greg are very fortunate in that we have a fantastic set of players who give 100% in training as well as on match day each Saturday morning but equally we have a great set of parents who continue to support us and the lads, week in and week out, through rain and shine, so big shout out to them. This epitomises what Adlington JFC is all about and we are proud to be a part of it.

Our team motto is  “We hunt as a pack” as we believe that it doesn’t matter about the opposition even if they are bigger, stronger and maybe even quicker than us because if we come together as a team then we can compete and we can overcome anyone and we generally do !!
