Adlington Lions were formed in June 2015 as an under 7’s 5 a side team. Seven of the original squad are still members of the current team.
The Lions have improved year on year, the play in the top section of the Bolton and Bury District Football League. We strive to achieve the right balance of competitive football and enjoyment, in line with the FA guidelines of Grassroots football.
